The bagel (or sometimes beigel, in Poland also bajgiel, bajgel, precel, obwarzanek) is a food traditionally made of yeasted wheat dough in the form of a roughly hand-sized ring which is boiled and then baked. The result is a dense, doughy interior with a browned and sometimes crisp exterior. In fine dining new york there are many restaurants offering freshest bagels. Still if you are one who likes cooking at home the ingredients are asiago, Blueberry, Cranberry, Egg, Garlic, Honey wheat, Onion, raisin, salt, sesame, sunny grain, tomato herb, vanilla cinnamon and onion stix. An advantage of this cuisine is that it has to be served fresh. So visiting any restaurant and ordering bagels rest assured that the bagel is totally fresh. A tip to make the bagels remain fresh through out the day is that they should be stored in tightly sealed plastic bags but allowed to cool before transferring to plastic bag. Never store bagels in paper.
